On Mother's Day I don't need any present

What I'd enjoy the most is your presence

 

Just some of your busy time you'd share

Would show host most how you do care

 

It would give this mother such a lift

Better than any other kind of a gift

 

A little borrowed time to sit and chat

Catching back up about this and that

 

To put us back into present touch

Would mean to me so very much

 

I know that your days are busy

And I understand it is so easy

 

 For even loved ones to get out of sync
