Is Earth Day Just A Mock?
Tick-Tock, Tick-Tock
Tick-Tock, says the clock
Tick-tock, life is a mock
For the many creatures
Existence isn't assured
On the planet we call earth
Where all life was birthed
Tick-tock, there's not a doubt
Tick-tock, time is running out
Creatures of the land, air and the sea
One day soon we might no longer see
If we do not stop man's destruction
Done to the earth in his production
Of greenhouse atmospheric effects
Which with our nature it interjects
Tick-tock, they say time stops for no one
But, tick-tock, man best be the someone
That figures out how to
And how man can undo
What man has damaged thus far
Instead of his shooting for stars
We need on the earth place focus
There is no magical hocus-pocus
Tick-tock, to save earth in a short time
Tick-tock, it can't be stopped on a dime
Tick-tock, says the clock
Tick-tock, life is a mock
Will definitely one day soon come true
If we don't get busy and come through
With alternate solutions
For all of the pollution's
That poison the land, air and the sea
If we do not we might no longer see
Many of God's creatures
Existence is not assured
On this planet He called earth
Where He gave to them birth
Tick-tock, time for man to make a stand
Tick-tock, includes the existence of man
Tick-tock, says the clock -
Will man stop the mock?
Tick-Tock, Tick-Tock
