Celebrating Jesus' Birthday!!
It won't be long before Christmas Day is here
The winter air is chilled and filled with cheer
Of folks everywhere
From here to there
Who're anxiously anticipating
And are joyfully celebrating
The coming Christmas time season
With Jesus' birthday as the reason
For all the Christmas shopping hoop-la
And Christmas carolers singing fa-la-la
People are putting up Xmas trees and yard decorating
And they are cooking and doing lots of holiday baking
Getting things all ready for the big event!
Families are counting the days of Advent
And lighting each Advent candle
On top of their fireplace mantle
Children eagerly await the arrival of Santa Claus
But they know that Jesus' birthday is the cause
For the Christmas season
With Him as the reason
For their under the tree Christmas presents
Which represent Jesus' holy birth presence
Christmas is the time for us to show caring
Christmas is the time for us being sharing
So we should for the less fortunate fill needs
And for all of the hungry people put on feeds
Pickup your telephone and call someone all alone on the phone
For Christmas can be a hard time for someone to be all alone
Also remember those serving for us in all of the military
Let them know you think they're all extra extraordinary
Doing what they do for our country and for us!
You could share a little bit of your Christmas
And send those serving far from their families
Some back home baked cookies or brownies!
You should especially share with those of them
Not knowing, but are also the children of Him
The meaning of why on Christmas Day we take pause
And we celebrate it being Jesus' birthday as the cause
For the Christmas season
And it being the reason
For folks everywhere
From here to there
Who're anxiously anticipating
And are joyfully celebrating
The coming day of Christmas
Being the birthday of Jesus!
